36th Heilbronn Lift Days 2019 (12th + 13th March 2019): mastering innovations safely.

With new potential but also new challenges, digital transformation has also reached the elevator industry. The 36th Heilbronn Lift Days take this into account without neglecting more down-to-earth topics such as accident prevention, hydraulic lifts, inclined lifts, soundproofing and, of course, new developments in regulations and products. Also in 2019, Dr. Ing. G. Schiffner opens the series of lectures with his indispensable overview of the development of the rules. After the coffee break, presentations on the state of the art in component construction will follow. Ph. Brüßler from Kollmorgen Steuerungstechnik reports on innovative control concepts, R. Hoppenstedt of Ziehl-Abegg on intelligent, networked drive systems and M. Ruthenbeck of BucherHydraulics on modern hydraulic drives. In between, U. Nees gives a talk on technology and regulations for sound insulation in elevator systems. RA H. Hardt provides legal assistance, this time with a focus on the new General Data Protection Regulation. At the end of the first day, participants will have the opportunity to discuss with Mr. Dietel and the speakers before meeting for the evening event. Day 2 starts with security and safety on the elevator. Prof. S. Paulus of Mannheim University of Applied Sciences shows how systems, but also the responsible companies, can be protected against loss, misuse and manipulation of their data. H. Buchwinkler from TÜV Rheinland explains how software-based safety technology is ensured and mastered in practice. After the coffee break, S. Huter from Doppelmayr Seilbahnen takes us on an outing into the world of inclined elevators, K. Aengenvoort from eTASK Immobilien Software demonstrates the practical benefits of Building Modeling Information (BIM) for the lift sector. After noon, S. Störmer of TÜV Austria Services will explain the brand-new TRBS 3121 for the operation of elevator systems which will be publicised shortly. At the conclusion of the Heilbronn Lift Days 2019, G. Quanz from RP Kassel reports on the accident situation at the elevator, the system of occupational safety and health and prevention measures. In addition to the common breaks in the foyer of the “Harmonie”, networking will once again serve as the backdrop for an extensive trade exhibition, in particular the popular evening event to which special information will be provided.
